Obituary for Edith Reece
Edith Reece, widow of Dorsey Reece and the daughter of the late John and Laura Caldwell Howard was born in Hazard, Kentucky on November 10, 1933 and departed this life in Beattyville, Kentucky on December 22 at the age of 90 years, 1 month, and 12 days.
She is survived by six children, Tim and Johnny Reece of Beattyville, Joan Baker of Garrad County, Kentucky, and Benny Reece, Laura Holder, and Larry Reece all of Beattyville; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Reece was preceded in death by two children, Wesley and Steve Reece; and two grandchildren, Angela and Jesse Clay Reece.
