Ann Brewer Pelfrey, widow of Geather Pelfrey and the daughter of the late Seldon and Florence Spencer Brewer was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky on October 21, 1932 and departed this life in Winchester, Kentucky on December 13, 2023 at the age of 91 years, 1 month, and, and 23 days. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Mrs. Pelfrey is survived by three children, Clara Lashone Pelfrey, James Harvey Pelfrey and wife Donna all of Beattyville, Kentucky, and Lavonne Combs of Indianapolis, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Tasha Marie Harris, Shawna Beth Murrey, Carrie Ann Pelfrey, Travis and Erica Combs, Jared Pelfrey, and TJ Howard; 12 great grandchildren, Kyra Shea Waits, Layne Hatch, Gabe Combs, Olivia Witt, Lilly Skaggs, McKinley, Kenton, and Corbin Pelfrey, Mason, Evan, Walker, and Penelope Howard; one great-great granddaughter, Nylia Skye Rowe; one sister, Sue Burton; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Pelfrey was preceded in death by two children, Danny Joe and Barbara Pelfrey; and several brothers.
