Obituary for Tara Nicole Barker
Tara Nicole Barker, daughter of Gary Lane Barker of Beattyville, Kentucky and the late Letha Tirey Wilder was born in Lexington, Kentucky on September 25, 1978 and departed this life in Booneville, Kentucky on December 9, 2023 at the age of 45 years, 2 months, and 14 days.
In addition to her father, Tara leaves behind two children, Emileigh Warner and Kardinal Roark both of Beattyville; her half brother and sister, Lane and Nikki Barker; Emileigh’s siblings that she loved as her own, Keshia and Shane Warner; her paternal grandmother, Pat Barker; two uncles, Denvard Peters and William Barker, Jr. and wife Judy; three aunts, Debra Combs and husband Phillip and Mildred Assanubat and husband Sam, Teri Jones and husband Tony; seven cousins, Shannon Johnson, Lauren Peters, Ashley Sullivan, Alicia Riley, Sean Assanubat, Tim Tirey and Paige Brandenburg; her special friends, Crystal Cook, Amy Bush, and Robby Alexander; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Letha; maternal grandparents, Fred and Geneva Tirey; paternal grandfather, Bill Barker; one aunt, Jean Ann Peters; one cousin, Denvard Scott Peters; and one nephew, Ethan Wilder.
