Janet Sue Fox Reese
JANET SUE FOX REESE, the widow of Thomas Robert Reese, and the daughter of the late Omer and Rachel Brandenburg Fox was born in Oneida, Kentucky on April 7, 1946, and departed this life at her home in Lee County, Kentucky on February 2, 2024, at the age of 77 years, 9 months and 26 days. She was a former gas company bookkeeper and was a member of the Southside Church of Christ.
Mrs. Reese is survived by one daughter, Cindy Brandenburg and husband Jimmy of Beattyville; two grandchildren, Candy Vanderpool and husband Bradley of Columbia, Kentucky and Robbie Brandenburg and wife Jennifer of Beattyville; five grandchildren, Blake and Kinsley Brandenburg, and Lexi, Savannah and Charlie Vanderpool; her honorary grandson, Dylan Wilson; her brothers and sisters, Iona Gray and husband Keith of Alabama, Donald Fox and wife Irene, Joe Fox ad wife Kay and Ramonia Fox all of Beattyville, and Nancy Cockerham of Lexington, North Carolina; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Reese was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Tom; her daughter Rachel; and a sister, Linda Luke.
