Obituary for Thomas Glenn "Tommie" McIntosh

Thomas Glenn “Tommie” McIntosh, widower of Ruth Ann Underwood McIntosh and the son of the late Walter and Helen McIntosh was born on November 1, 1944 and departed this life in Lexington, Kentucky on January 21, 2024 at the age of 79 years, 2 months, and 20 days. He was a retired Facility Control Maintenance Team Member for Toyota as well as a Beattyville City Police Officer for 7 years. He loved his grandchildren, loved to fish, and was known for his songwriting and playing his guitar.
Tommie is survived by his daughter, Doris Sizemore and Barry Wright of Lexington, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Kayle Sizemore also of Lexington, and Chrysta and Christian McIntosh both of Georgetown, Kentucky; brothers and sisters, Ralph and Dana Coomer, Donnie Coomer and his dog, Ruby, Brenda and Ray Shuler, Kathy and Bobby Flanery, and Jackie Caudell; nieces and nephews, Teresa Coomer Mays, Paula Lightfoot Peake, Marissa Shuler, David Caudell, Jr., Shane Coomer, Lindsy Coomer, Chris Deaton, Ashley Flanery, Keith Flanery, Johnny Steven McIntosh, Vanessa Emry, and Larry Coomer; his cat, Oliver “OJ Trump;” and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his wife, Ruth Ann and his parents, Walter and Helen, Tommie was preceded in death by his son, Christopher McIntosh; four siblings, Lawrence and Johnny Price Coomer, Robert Lee McIntosh, and Anna Sue Lightfoot; a nephew, Ralph “Ralphie” Coomer, Jr.; and one brother-in-law, David Caudell, Sr.

Pallbearers include: Christian McIntosh, Ralph Coomer, Donnie Coomer, Shane Coomer, Clyde Underwood, Travis Mays, and Kayle Sizemore.
Honorary pallbearers: Christopher Deaton, Keith Flannery, David Caudell, Jr., Johnny Steven McIntosh, Ray Shuler, Bobby Flanery, and Larry Coomer.
