Obituary for Willard Shawn Paul Parks
Willard Shawn Paul Parks, son of Judith Elizabeth Parks Wathen and the late Bobby Joe Collins was born in Newport, Kentucky on June 7, 1977 and departed this life at his home in Beattyville, Kentucky on December 19, 2023 at the age of 46 years, 6 months, and 12 days. He was a construction worker and loved music, art, weed eating, and spending time with his family.
In addition to his mother, Judy, Shawn is survived by his step-father, Paul Wayne Wathen of Beattyville, Kentucky; two sons, Logan York of Fairbanks, Alaska and Kaleb Slone of Beattyville; one step-son, Eric Serrato; brothers and sisters, Robert Parks and wife Jaimie, Shannon Parks, Kim Couch, Kathy Jo Collins all of Beattyville, Christina J. Havens of Michigan, and Kristy Pyles of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Joe Collins and all of his grandparents.
