DOUGLAS EDWARD FRANKLIN, husband of Michelle Lacy Franklin of Beattyville, Kentucky was born in Warner Robins, Georgia on November 10, 1955 and departed this life at his home in Beattyville on December 10, 2023 at the age of 68 years and 1 month. He was a former employee of Parkview Memorial Hospital in Ft. Wayne, Indiana as well as a veterinarian assistant for Ted Cundiff, DVM in Beattyville. An accomplished musician, Doug played guitar in the Worship Band at Park Forest Church of God in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
In addition to his wife, Michelle, Doug leaves behind his two children, Eric Franklin and wife Tori of Huntertown, Indiana and Ellen Vance and husband Dan of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Xavier, Isaac, Ayden, Dew, Asher, Lincoln, and Hunter; and a host of other relatives and friends.
