Condolences

Condolence From: Paintsville Livestock Market and the Workman Family
Condolence: To the family of Ted,

We are greatly saddened by the loss of Ted. He began working as the stockyard veterinarian in the late 1960’s for my Dad here at Paintsville and worked over 20 years for our family and the farmers here in the region. He mentored many young people here at the yards who were interested in veterinary medicine. We have called on Ted not only for company animal health, but for farm and personal pet health. He would even mail medicine to us. He ALWAYS knew what to do for our livestock and pets. He would always refer to me as “this is the son of the man that gave me my first job.” Ted will be greatly missed. Most importantly, Ted was our friend.

With sorrow,
Vessie Lee, Connie, and Ashleigh Workman

Condolence From: Matt and Chasidy Johnson
Condolence: Matt and I both have lifelong memories of Ted coming to our childhood homes and us going to his home and clinic to have our animals taken care of. He truly cared about the animals he treated and we could all depend on him to come in our time of need, no matter the day or time. We had a great respect for Ted. Judy, Karen and Elizabeth you are in our prayers.

Condolence From: Bonnie & Tom Cornett
Condolence: Teddy was a hero to many! Tom & I could always feel safe as far as our fur babies were concerned! So many times he would take care of them including one cold Christmas Day he came out to medicate my whole tribe of rescues for "Kennel Cough"! He actually brought back my "Tanner" from death. He will be truly missed, his humor & his "no nonsense" way of handling emergencies of our beloved pets gave us comfort. He truly loved "ALL creatures great & small"! Many prayers & much love sent to the family!

Condolence From: Lee and Mickey Rose
Condolence: I could write all day and still couldn’t list all the good memories of Ted. He’s been at our house at 2:00am and I’ve called and got him up at 4:00 and he’d meet us at clinic. They are so many many more things I’d could share and it still would not tell what a wonderful person he was. He was the best any where. And he most always would tell us something Judy and his girls had done. He talked about them with so much love and pride you could feel at ease just being around him. I just say enough about Ted. Take care of all the animals in heaven
