Sharon Gayle Bray-Parker, wife of Vernon Parker and daughter of the late Clay and Nadine Smith McIntosh, was born in Manchester, Kentucky on July 5, 1964 and departed this life in Louisville, Kentucky on September 7, 2023 at the age of 59 years. She was a Member of Abba’s House Church of Beattyville. She also loved botany… there wasn’t a house plant she couldn’t grow.
Mrs. Parker leaves behind four children, Jason and wife Kristy of Beattyville, Kentucky, Nikki and husband Jordan of Beattyville, Casondra Bray of Beattyville, Jordan and wife Sarah of Berea, Special nephew-like-a-son, Kenneth William Gabbard of Booneville; eight grandchildren, Jonathan and wife Briana, Jacob and wife Autum, Jack, Augustus, Wyatt, Silas, Lucas, and Hannah; two stepchildren, Cliff and Laura; five siblings, Vickie and husband Larry, Sandra Watson, Ronald McIntosh, Randall McIntosh, and Ricky McIntosh; and a host of many relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Darlene Todd and Sheila Banks, and a special nephew like a son, Kelvin Gabbard.
