Obituary for Lorene Smith Wilson
LORENE SMITH WILSON, the widow of Russell Wilson, and the daughter of the late Willie Frank and Isabell Wise Smith, was born in Lee County, Kentucky on August 26, 1937 and departed this life in Stanton, Kentucky on March 31, 2022 at the age of 84 years, 7 months and 5 days. Mrs. Wilson was a retired office clerk for the Lee County Health Department and was a member of the Church of The Nazarene.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her brother, Elmo Smith of Stanton, Kentucky; special friends, Richard and Teresa Lowe of Richmond, Kentucky; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Russell; one brother, Everett Walter Smith; and two sisters, Juanita Smith and Lucy Smith Bryant Cook.
