Jack Slone, husband of Carolyn Sue Brandenburg Slone of Beattyville, Kentucky and the son of the late Roscoe and Kathleen Brandenburg Slone was born on December 2, 1951 and departed at his home in Beattyville, Kentucky on September 9, 2019 at the age of 67 years, 9 months, and 7 days. He was a former bus driver for Mid Kentucky Area Development.
In addition to his wife Carolyn, Jack is survived by one daughter, Crystal Valentine Brewer and husband Kenny of Beattyville, Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Alex Little, Zeke Brewer, Hayley Brewer, Megan Darling and husband Chris, Audrey Madison Darling, Sydney Elise Darling, and Andrew David Darling; his mother-in-law Geneva Brandenburg; nine brothers and sister, his twin, Joe Slone of Beattyville, Kentucky, Betty Rhodus and husband Jimmy of Lexington, Kentucky, Roger Slone and wife Melody of Beattyville, Kentucky, Ruth Ann Lilley of Georgetown, Kentucky, Brenda Gross and husband Steve, Bessie Wade, Ben Slone, and Lucy Slone all of Beattyville, Kentucky; a brother-in-law Royce of Beattyville, Kentucky; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his father-in-law Caught (Jack) Brandenburg; two brothers, James Slone and Roscoe Slone, Jr.; one sister, Janice Phillips; one granddaughter, Natalie Elizabeth Darling; and two special nephews, Joe Allen Slone and Stephen Ray Gross.
