Obituary


Elizabeth Manns Brandenburg, the wife of the late William Franklin Brandenburg and the daughter of the late Johnny and Louella Mullins Brandenburg departed this life at the Hospice Care center in Hazard, Kentucky at the age of 73 years, 3 months, and 29 days. She was a loving Homemaker and attended the Canyon Falls Evangelical Congregational Church.
Elizabeth is survived by three children, Melissa K. Hobbs, William F. Brandenburg Jr., and James Edward Hobbs all of Beattyville, Kentucky; eleven grandchildren, Alisha Campbell, Laura Hobbs, Chevron Millard, Melissa Thompson, Brandon Hobbs, Ricky Hobbs, Harley Brandenburg, Russell Brandenburg, Dustin Brandenburg, Aaron Brandenburg, Brittany Brandenburg; great-great grandchildren, Christian Thompson, Michael Spencer, Mason Spencer, Kevin Shackford, Isaiah Campbell, Jacob Campbell, Casey Campbell, Skylar Hobbs, Judy Hobbs; Jean Perry of London, Kentucky, Brenda Gail of Winchester, Kentucky, Madeline Lykins of Ohio, Ohio, and Betty Kennard of Washington D. C.; brothers, Robert Manns of Beattyville, Kentucky, Johnny Manns of Ohio, Ohio, Mack Manns of Ohio, Ohio, and Ronnie Manns of Winchester, Kentucky; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William Brandenburg, daughter Judy Hopkins, and grandson, Jordan Svatba.
