Obituary for Virginia Lee Lynch (Briscoe)

Virginia Lee  Lynch (Briscoe)
Virginia Lee Briscoe Lynch was born March 11th, 1930 at Ida Mae, Kentucky and departed this life on May 20th at the Wolfe Co. Health & Rehab Center in Campton, Kentucky. Virginia was the widow of Bill Lynch and the daughter of the late Charlie and Hessye Tincher Briscoe. She was a devoted employee of the Lee Co. Board of Education for many years where she began teaching in a one room school in Cressmont, Kentucky at the age of 18. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of the Gray’s Chapel Christian Church.
Survivors are son William Michael Lynch and wife Marsha and daughter Pamela Todd and husband Steve all of Beattyville; grandsons Zach Todd and wife Danielle of Nicholasville, Kentucky, Josh Todd of Lexington, Kentucky, and Heath Lynch of Beattyville; great grandchildren Grace and Elliot Todd of Nicholasville and Gage Lynch of Beattyville; Brothers Fred Briscoe and wife Brenda of Morrow, Ohio, Charlie Briscoe, Jr. and wife Lynn of Williamsburg, Ohio, Donnie Briscoe and wife Norma, and Ralph Briscoe and wife Kathy all of Glenwood, Indiana; sisters Adalene Farmer of Cincinnati, Ohio, Betty Crauder of Dayton, Ohio, Patty Deible and husband Dale of Milford, Ohio, and Phyllis Moberly and husband James of Florence, Kentucky; she is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews; and two special sisters-in-law, Mable Lynch of Blanchester, Ohio and Dorris Lynch of Russville, Indiana; and a daughter-in-law, Cheryl Lynch of Richmond, Kentucky.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bill; her parents Charlie and Hessye Briscoe; brothers Paul and Ronnie Briscoe; and sister Ina Mae Brown.
