Fanny Ellen Gilbert, the widow of Clyde Gilbert, and the daughter of the late Henry and Stella Caroline Taulbee Burton, was born in Lee County, Kentucky on October 30, 1933 and departed this life in Beattyville, Kentucky at the age of 84 years, 5 months, and 10 days.
Mrs. Gilbert is survived by four children, Gerald Miracle of Beattyville, Kentucky, Thomas Miracle and wife Anna of Beattyville, Kentucky, Richard Gabbard of West Liberty, Kentucky, and Sharron Adams and husband Dennis of Leeco, Kentucky; eight grandchildren, Leisha Vanderpool, Amanda Farler, Rick Gabbard, Jason Miracle, Serita McCoy, Matthew Miracle, Chelsea Adams, and Richelle Gabbard; five great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jordan, Paisley, McKenna, and Audrey; one sister, Leona Snowden of Owensboro, Kentucky; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Gilbert is preceded in death by her husband and parents; one grandson, Keaton Adams; four brothers, Roy, JH, Shorty, and George Willard Burton; and five sisters, Juanita, Helen, Irene, Shirley, and Lora.
