David Caudell, Sr., husband of Jackie Marshall Caudell, was born in Campton, Kentucky on February 8, 1960 to Luther Dean and Betty Sue Combs Caudell. David departed this life at his home in Beattyville, Kentucky at the age of 57 years, 7 month, and 10 days. He was a retired Oil Pumper for Bretagne Oil.
In addition to his wife, David is survived by one son, David Caudell, Jr. and wife Becky of Beattyville, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Ashley Copher and husband Dustin of Salt Lick, Kentucky, Whitney Paige Caudell, and Matthew David Caudell and fiancé Stephanie all of Beattyville, Kentucky; two great grandchildren, Matthew Sherman Caudell and Baby Caudell on the way; one brother, Dewayne Caudell and wife Veronica of Georgetown, Kentucky; four special brothers-in-law, Guy Marshall of Wisemantown, Kentucky, Tommy McIntosh of Georgetown, Kentucky, Ralph Coomer and wife Dana, Donnie G. Coomer all of Beattyville, Kentucky; two special sisters-in-law, Kathy Flannery and husband Bobby of Lexington, Kentucky and Brenda Shuler and husband Ray of Beattyville, Kentucky; his dogs, Flopsey and Mopsey; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by one brother, Dennis Ray Caudell; two brothers-in-law, Robert Lee McIntosh and John Pryse Coomer; one sister-in-law, Anna Sue Lightfoot; two nephews, Ralph Coomer, Jr. and Christopher Wayne McIntosh; one niece, Tammy Renea Napier; paternal grandparents, Oliver and Rhoda Caudell; and maternal grandparents, Edward and Mary Combs.
