Glenda Rae Jokisch Robinson, wife of Bobby J. Robinson of Fuquay Varina, NC and the daughter of the late Raymond and Maxine Laney Jokisch, was born in St. Louis, MO on October 2, 1942 and departed this life in Hazard, KY on June 28, 2017 at the age of 74 years, 8 months and 26 days. Glenda was a retired nuclear engineer from General Electric. After her retirement, she and her husband worked for Beattyville Housing. She loved genealogy, flowers and gardening, antiques, and her church, the Lee County Church of Christ.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Bobbie Robinson of Hazard, KY; one son, Christopher Ray Robinson and wife, Holly of Fuquay Varina, NC; a step-daughter, Pamela Dunn and husband Paul of Columbia, KY; seven grandchildren, Christopher Jason Robinson, Sean Riley Robinson, Nicholas Eric Robinson, Abby Michelle Robinson, Shannon Dunn, Pauley Dunn, and Kathy Dunn; a sister-in-law, Sheila Mahaffey and husband Johnny of Georgetown, KY; niece and nephew, Liza Chilton and John Almon; eight cousins, Roxanne Evans, Susan Mosier, Tommy Spicer, Melanie Spicer, Mark Spicer, James & Carrie Dunahoo, Gary Youlmans, and Janet Graves; many special friends, Betty & Jim Combs, Gary Marshall, June Marshall, Joe & Marsha Cook, Marcie Campbell, Darryl Cope, Elwood Sizemore, Charles & Tammy Svatba, David Bowling, Dawn & Billy Caudell, Herbert & Lela Noe, Ruth Ann Rice, Jessie Land, Jerry & Myrtle Land, Dwayne Oliver, Harry Compton, Mary Roberts, Julie Wilson, Keith Snowden, Faye Wilson, Alfred & Marlene Angel, Frances & Phyllis Gross, and Don & Carolyn Reece, David Alexander, Sue Dooley, Wally & Janet Todd, and Helen Todd.
