Jessie Lee Dunahoo “Junior”, son of the late James and Ellen Butler Dunahoo, was born in St. Helens, Kentucky on August 6, 1936 and departed this life in Booneville, Kentucky on May 14, 2017 at the age of 84 years, 9 months, and 8 days.
He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, friends, as well as many cherished friends, colleagues, and caregivers from his life in Lexington.
Jessie is preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Redamar Dunahoo, Sr., Jack and John Dunahoo, and Charles Edward Dunahoo, Sr.; four sisters, Agnes Steinhibler, Nancy Harrison, Ruby Dees, and Ollie Faust.
Pallbearers include Charlie Dunahoo, Larry Woods, James Dunahoo, Johnny Dunahoo, Larry Dunahoo, Kenny Dunahoo.
Honorary Pallbearers include his colleagues and caregivers from his Lexington home and art studio.
