Obituary for Debra Napier

Debra Sue Dunaway Napier, the wife of Donald Ray “Carlo” Napier of Beattyville, Kentucky and the daughter of Walter and Billie Katharine Davis Dunaway, was born in Oneida, Kentucky on August 6, 1953 and departed this life in Lexington, Kentucky on September 18, 2016 at the age of 63 years, 1 month, and 12 days. She was a retired teacher from the Lee County Head Start where she worked for 23 years and she was a faithful member of the Beattyville Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to her husband and mother, Debra is survived by one son, Donald Ray “Donnie” Napier Jr. and wife Tiffany; two grandsons, Donald Ray Napier III and Joseph Ryan Napier all of Beattyville, Kentucky; four brothers, Doug Dunaway and wife Susie of Morrow, Ohio, Virgil Dunaway and wife Janet, Mike Dunaway, and Corbett Dunaway and wife Debbie all of Beattyville, Kentucky; three sisters, Linda Thacker of Lexington, Kentucky, Teresa Napier and husband Ronnie, and Audrey Napier and companion Ray McKinney all of Beattyville, Kentucky; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by one son, Brandon Lee Napier; her father, Walter Dunaway; paternal grandparents, Ewen and Mary Francis Dunaway; maternal grandparents, Corbett and Ruth Davis; and two special nephews, James Leroy Napier and Chris Stepp.

Pallbearers include: Doug Dunaway, Corbett Dunaway, Donald Ray Napier, Mike Dunaway, Jeremy Napier, Shawn Napier, Virgil Dunaway, Donnie Napier, Joseph Ryan Napier, Cory Dunaway, and Scottie Napier.
Honorary Pallbearer include: All of her Headstart Girls, all nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, all church family, and her Beth Moore Bible Study Sisters.
