Charles Edward Gentry, the widower of Regina Kaye Robinson Gentry and the son of the late Ellis and Nora Olinger Taylor was born in Lee County, Kentucky on May 20, 1946 and departed this life in Lexington, Kentucky on December 17, 2014 at the age of 68 years, 6 months and 27 days.
He is survived by three children, Delonda Lynn Gentry and husband Ducky Shuler of Beattyville, Kentucky, Donna Redbrook and husband Eugene of Richmond, Kentucky, and Robert Gentry and wife Cassie of Beattyville; 10 brothers and sisters, Darrell Gentry and Carol Taylor, both of Beattyville, Dale Gentry and wife Regina, Darlene Moore, Maggie, Glen, Mark, and Mike Gentry of Harrison County, Kentucky, and Theresa and Kelly Beach of Winchester, Kentucky; 8 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his wife, Regina Kaye Robinson Gentry and his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Billy Edward Gentry.
