MARIE WILLIAMS YOUNG, the wife of Cleveland Young, of Versailles, Kentucky and the daughter of the late Thomas Nelson and Emma Lou Parrish Williams. She was born June 27, 1932 in Clark County, Kentucky and departed this life on Friday April 12, 2013 in Lexington, Kentucky at the age of 81 years, 9 months and 15 days.
Mrs. Young was a graduate of the St. Joseph Nursing School of the Nazareth in Lexington, Kentucky and was a retired registered nurse from St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. She was a member of the Woodford County Homemakers and grew up in the Macedonia Christian Church. She kept in contact with her high school classmates from 1951.
In addition to her husband Cleveland, Mrs. Young is survived 1 daughter Lou Ann Campbell and husband Shawn of Lexington, Kentucky, a step grandson Seth Campbell of Lexington, her brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Allen Williams and Cecil Williams.
