Rena Sue Isaacs (Johnson)
RENA SUE JOHNSON ISAACS, the wife of Kenneth Bryan Isaacs of Beattyville, Kentucky, and the daughter of the late Johnnie and Lillie Mae Shearer Johnson, was born in Lee County, Kentucky on March 5, 1942 and departed this life in Richmond, Kentucky on November 12, 2012 at the age of 70 years, 8 months and 7 days.
She was an instructional assistant with the Lee County Schools for 20 years, a member and Sunday School teacher of the Hilltop Missionary Baptist Church, a member of the Beartrack Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, a board member of the P.E.P. Coalition, a Project Prom committee member, a member of the Passionately Pink committee, and volunteered for Trick-or-Treat On Main, the Lee County High School FFA, basketball boosters and other school activities.
In addition to her husband Kenneth, Mrs. Isaacs is survived by their three children, Rhonda Jean Isaacs Estes and husband Randy of Beattyville, Rena Michelle Isaacs Estes and husband Steve of Beattyville, Kenny Bryan Isaacs, Jr. of Lexington, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Bryan Randall Estes, Bobby R. Estes, Samantha Michelle Estes and Sara Marie Estes all of Beattyville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Isaacs was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters and 2 brothers.
