My uncle Bruce Davis was one of the greatest men I've ever had the privilege of knowing. It was my honor to be at his side throuhhout his 6 year battle with cancer, and I'm glad i was able to keep my promise "to ride it out to the very end with him", as he liked to say. I was there holding his hand when he left thus world and his suffering ended and our began but I would not trade the last 6 years or that last moment or any moment I was able to spend with him. I have loved him all my life and will love and miss him and his big smile and jokes until my time on earth is down. RIP MY ONLY UNCLE, FAVORITE UNCLE, AS HE TOLD ME UP UNTIL HIS LAST DAY. I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU AND OUR TALKS ON THE BACK PORCH. I LOVE YOU, YOUR FAVORITE NURSE AND NIECE. 🙂 ALICIA
