Glenn Aaron  Marcum
Glenn Aaron Marcum departed this life on January 7, 2020 at Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, KY.
Glenn is the son of Lewis and Geneva Smith Marcum and was born December 30, 1933 in Cressmont, Lee County KY. Glenn graduated from Booneville High School and lived and worked for a large part of his life in the Norwood Ohio area. After retiring he returned to live in Beattyville KY. Glenn also served in the US Army and was stationed in Germany.
Glenn is survived by a brother William D Marcum of Lexington KY, nephews Michael Farmer (Kim) of Liberty IN, Bradley (Barbara) Taylor of Berea KY, and niece Donna (Roger) Comingore of Rushville IN and cousin Mark Goodloe. Also surviving Glenn are great nephews Bradley (Lisa) Sizemore of Rushville IN, Gregory (Tameeka) Sizemore of Laurel IN, great nieces Nicole (Mark) Williams of Connersville IN, Endia (Robert) Dees of Berea KY, and Savanna Taylor of Charleston SC, as well as several great great nephews and nieces.
In addition to his parents, Glenn is preceded in death by a sister Joan Marcum Shackelford, brother-in-law John Shackelbrod, sister Marilyn Marcum Taylor, brother-in-law Paul Taylor, sister Carol Marcum Farmer, brother-in-law Hershel Farmer, a brother Dickie Lewis Marcum, sister-in-law Carol Noble Marcum, nephew Jon Mark Shackelford and nephew Alan Marcum.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Newnam Funeral Home, Beattyville KY. Visitation is January 14, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. With grave side military services starting at 12:00 at Stone Coal Cemetery.
