Dorothy Lee Cornett Combs
DOROTHY LEE CORNETT COMBS, widow of Clyde Combs and the daughter of the late James and Lilley Deaton Cornett was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky on January 28, 1928 and departed this life at her home in Beattyville, Kentucky on August 3, 2021 at the age of 93 years, 6 months and 6 days. She was a member of the Morris Fork Presbyterian Church, was a homemaker and loved cooking, her grandchildren, and Jesus.
Dorothy leaves behind her six children, Eddie Ray Combs and wife Karen of Lexington, Kentucky, Brenda Jewell, Donna Combs, Sheila Cornett, Charlene Dunaway all of Beattyville, and Cheryl Lynch of Winchester, Kentucky; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Ella Routt of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a host of special nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Combs was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
