Everett Cecil Brandenburg, widower of Mavis Irene Land Brandenburg and the son of the late Lee and Alice Wilson Brandenburg was born in Lee County, Kentucky on July 25, 1924 and departed this life in Frankfort, Kentucky on June 5, 2021 at the age of 96 years, 10 months and 11 days. He was a former employee of the Kentucky State Highway Department.
Mr. Brandenburg leaves behind two children, Wilma Coomer and husband Donnie of Lexington, Kentucky and Ronny Joe Brandenburg and wife Peggy of Georgetown, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Angel Kincaid, Donald and Chris Coomer, Aimee Cox, and Cindy Powell; eight great grandchildren, EmilyRuth Cox, Amber and Anna Powell, Noah Kincaid, and Charles, Cecil, Sterling, and Marie Geldeman; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Brandenburg was preceded in death by one daughter, Phyllis Kincaid; and one granddaughter, Janie Geldeman.
