Dixie Vanderpool Stamper, daughter of the late Delton and Helen Sizemore Vanderpool was born in Lexington, Kentucky on September 1, 1955 and departed this life at her home in Beattyville, Kentucky on October 24, 2020 at the age of 65 years, 1 month and 23 days. She was a former health caregiver for UK Health Care and was of the Holiness Faith.
She is survived by two sons, Bradley Wayne Stamper of Whick, Kentucky and Brandon Wesley Stamper of Beattyville, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Bradley Tray and Breana Renee Stamper both of Whick, Kentucky; one great granddaughter, Caroline Hope Stamper of Jackson, Kentucky; three sisters Della Mitchell of Richmond, Kentucky, Betty J. Farmer of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Bessie Carol Byrd of Williamsburg, Ohio; one brother, Amos Vanderpool; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Dixie was preceded in death by her parents.
