Charles Damon Flinchum, husband of Mary Frances Stamper “Dolly” Flinchum of Beattyville, Kentucky and the son of the late Floyd and Roxie Gross Flinchum, was born in Lee County, Kentucky on January 21, 1948 and departed this life in Beattyville on June 8, 2020 at the age of 72 years, 4 months and 18 days.
In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by three children, Melissa Dawn Flinchum of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Timothy Wayne Charles of Irvine, Kentucky, and Anthony Glenn Charles of Piqua, Ohio; seven grandchildren; one brother, Dennis Flinchum; one sister, Patricia Purdue both of Beattyville; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Billy Gene and Gary Flinchum.
