Cherry Marie Jackson Tirey, daughter of Brenda Jackson of Beattyville, Kentucky and the late Edward Jackson was born in Manchester, Kentucky on April 1, 1976 and departed this life in Richmond, Kentucky on November 19, 2019 at the age of 43 years, 7 months, and 18 days. She was a member of the Beattyville Christian Church, loved animals and cooking, and especially loved her time spent with her daughter, Macy Lee Tirey.
In addition to her daughter, Macy and her mother, Brenda, Cherry is survived by two sisters, Connie Sturgis of Lexington, Kentucky and Bridgett Townsend of Richmond, Kentucky.
Cherry was preceded in death by her father, Ed; a son, Edward Scott Doan; and Jeff Tirey.

Pallbearers include Gary Townsend, Clinton Sturgis, Matthew Reece, Derek Pelfrey, Corey Sturgis, and David Nichols.
