James Linard Ray Turner, the husband of Sheena Joy Larrison Turner of Goldsboro, North Carolina and the son of Kenneth James Turner of Beattyville, Kentucky and Linda Louise Marie Turner of Goldsboro, North Carolina, was born in Lexington, Kentucky on February 26, 1990 and departed this life in Goldsboro, North Carolina on November 1, 2019 at the age of 29 years, 8 months, and 4 days.
In addition to his wife and parents, James is survived by a daughter, Hayley Brooklynn Spears Turner of Beattyville, Kentucky; four step children, Deeanna and Leeanna Larrison, Nicholas Hernandez, and Kaleb Newsome; four brothers, Kenneth Earl Roger Turner and wife Isabelle of Bollendorf, Germany, Shelby Edward Turner of Eddyville, Kentucky, Cody Scott Arvin Turner, and Daniel Donald Steven Turner and wife Sarah of Bollendorf, Germany; one sister, Ashley Ann Marie Turner of Beattyville; his maternal grandmother,Virginia Turner of Jackson, Kentucky; his step grandparents, Johnny and Terry Manns; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
James was preceded in death by his stepfather, Raymond Johnny Manns; two sisters, Virginia Loretta Turner and Shelley Sueann Marie Turner Valazquez; her maternal grandfather, Earl Turner; and her paternal grandparents, James Roger and Loretta Turner.
