Phyllis Jean Stamper, widow of Wallace Stamper and the daughter of the late Edgar and Rettie Angel Stapleton was born in St. Helens, Kentucky on August 30, 1943 and departed this life in Rochester Hills, Michigan on October 12, 2019 at the age of 76 years, 1 month, and 12 days. She was a former machine operator at a plastic factory.
Phyllis is survived by one daughter, Sheila Stamper of Troy, Michigan; three sisters, Roma M. Pierson, Brenda Spencer, and Loretta Townsend; one brother, Alvey Stapleton all of Rochester Hills, Michigan; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by one brother, Fairley Stapleton.
