Obituary for Carrie Mae Frye (Chrisman)
Carrie Mae Chrisman Frye, widow of Earl Frye and the daughter of the late Robert Cecil and Lottie Shelton Chrisman was born in Lee County, Kentucky on March 29, 1932 and departed this life in Irvine, Kentucky on October 14, 2019 at the age of 87 years, 6 months, and 16 days. She was a former employee of the Beattyville Dry Cleaners.
Carrie is survived by her brother and sister, Charles Chrisman of Irvine, Kentucky and Betty Spencer of Lee County, Kentucky; a very special nephew, Willard Chrisman and wife Linda of Beattyville, Kentucky; and a host of several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her five brothers and sisters, Mary A. Brandenburg, Geneva Chrisman, Robert “Bug” Chrisman, Darlene Hacker, and Troy Chrisman; and her special friend, Oval Gross.
