Jack Tirey, son of the late Fred and Nellie Tirey was born in Beattyville, Kentucky on December 3, 1929 and departed at his home in Cement City, Michigan on September 3, 2019 at the age of 89 years and 9 months. He served in the United States Army, was a member of the Beattyville First Church of God, and a former engine repairman for GM/Cadillac. He was also a member of the Shriners as well as the Masonic Lodge.
Jack is survived by his six children and their families; a son, James E. Tirey; a son, Jack Tirey, Jr.; a daughter, Pamela Sue Gauci, her husband Kenny and their four children, Kenneth J. Gauci (Tee Tee), Jackelyn J. Kastonis (Taki), John V. Gauci, and Justin M. Gauci (Becky); a son, Gregory Scott Tirey and his five children, Angelica J. Batson (Brett), Gregory S. Tirey (Emily), Noah A. Tirey, Jack N. Tirey, and Dustin Tirey (Monica); a son, Timothy Michael Tirey and his two daughers, Mandy M. and Melissa S. Tirey; a son, William Robert Tirey, his wife Kimberly and their three sons, Jordan R., Jacob W., and Joshua R. Tirey; 15 great grandchildren; the mother of his children, Bernadine L. Thompson (Tirey); and a host of many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, William Robert Tirey, Harv E. Tirey, and Fred Tirey, Jr.
