Lois Jean Dunaway Johnson, wife of Dallas Gale Johnson and the daughter of the late Elijah and Rosie Williams Dunaway was born in Lee County, Kentucky on July 8, 1946 and departed this life at her home in Beattyville, Kentucky on August 19, 2019 at the age of 73 years, 1 month, and 11 days. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and a former seamstress for Lion Apparel.
In addition to her husband, Lois is survived by one son, James Newton; two sisters Lola Addison and Mabel Snowden; and one granddaughter, Haley Spencer all of Beattyville, Kentucky; and a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Rosa Newton; and two brothers, Butler and Sonny Dunaway.
