Emma Ann Johnson Vires, widow of Thomas Paul Vires and the daughter of the late Timothy and Shrilda Slone Johnson was born in Lee County, Kentucky on October 16, 1941 and departed this life at her home in Beattyville, Kentucky on July 15, 2019 at the age of 77 years, 8 months, and 29 days. She drove a school bus for Lee County for 17 years.
She leaves behind three children, April Vires and Paul Edward Vires both of Beattyville, Kentucky and Peggy Sue Hurt of LaPorte, Indiana; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; and a host of other relatives and close friends.
A graveside service was held at the Vires Cemetery on July 16, 2019.
