Richard Dean Taylor was born March 14, 1937 to the late Arco and Ica Day Taylor. He passed away May 27, 2019 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky.
Richard is survived by his wife of 51 years, Claire Marie McElroy Taylor; one brother, Coleman Daniel Taylor of Winchester, Kentucky; three sisters, Drucilla Vanderpool (J.D.) and Juanita Taylor both of Beattyville, Kentucky, and Dianah Isaacs of Walton, Kentucky; two step sons, Lynn Edward Haney of Fort St. Lucie, Florida and Nick Halkias of Lindon, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Willis Taylor and Leroy Taylor.
Pallbearers include Coleman Taylor, Tony Jones, Lynn Haney, Clarence Bowman, Danny Hogan, and Ode Dickerson.
