Obituary for Patrick "Pat" Deaton

Patrick “Pat” Deaton, the son of the late Bethel and Florence Venters Deaton, was born in Vada, Kentucky on July 8, 1939 and departed this life in Lexington, Kentucky on April 23, 2019 at the age of 79 years, 9 months and 15 days. He was a heavy equipment operator for the Lee County Fiscal Court, loved hunting, fishing, his garden and his dogs.
Mr. Deaton is survived by one son, Dewayne Deaton of Beattyville, Kentucky; one daughter, Karen Sue Booth and husband Steve of Beattyville; one grandson, Conner Patrick Deaton of Beattyville; two brothers, Tony Deaton and wife Sue of Georgetown, Kentucky and Danny Deaton of Lexington; two sisters, Polly Flores of Frankfort, Kentucky and Betty Maupin of Lancaster, Kentucky; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mr. Deaton was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Angeline Broxton, Jestine Steward, Mary Trent; and three brothers, Darrell, Woodrow and Elifes Deaton.
