WILLIAM FRANK BARKER, the husband of 62 years to Mrs. Patricia Louise Naples Barker of Beattyville, Kentucky, and the son of the late Norman Luther and Ossie Jackson Barker, was born in English, West Virginia on April 18, 1932 and departed this life in Lexington, Kentucky on March 1, 2019 at the age of 86 years, 10 months and 11 days. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, former highway construction heavy equipment operator, a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge of Boston, Massachusetts and a Shriner.
In addition to his wife Patricia, Mr. Barker is survived by three children, Gary Barker of Beattyville, William Barker, Jr. and wife Judy of Richmond, Kentucky, Teri Barker Jones and husband Tony of Beattyville; four grandchildren, Tara Barker, Paige Barker Brandenburg, Nikki Barker and Lane Barker; a special niece, June Dinan; a special nephew, Joe DeSiata; his two special dogs, Rufus and Coco; and a host of other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Mr. Barker was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Norman Barker, Jr. and Raymond Barker; and a nephew, Franny Ryan.
