Letha Tirey Wilder, widow of Darrell Wilder and the daughter of the late Fred P. Tirey Jr. and Geneva Christine Brandenburg was born in Beattyville, Kentucky on April 28, 1955 and departed this life in Beattyville, Kentucky on February 27, 2019 at the age of 63 years, 9 months, and 30 days. Letha worked as an area specialist for USDA Rural Development.
She is survived by one daughter, Tara Barker (Kenny Dunahoo); two grandchildren, Emileigh “Emmi” Warner and Kardinal “Kardi” Roark all of Beattyville, Kentucky; two sisters, Debra T. Combs and husband Phillip of Beattyville and Mildred Assanuvat and husband Sam of Florence, Kentucky; five nieces and nephews, Scotty Peters (Jennifer Burgess), Ashley Sullivan (Sean), Alicia Riley (Jason), Shanna Combs Johnson (Trevor), and Sean Assanuvat; one special cousin, Tim Tirey; one great niece, Lauren Peters; one brother-in-law, Denvard Peters of Beattyville; and a host of other step-children, step-grandchildren, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
