Virginia Dare LeMaster Samples, the widow of Charles Logan Samples and the daughter of the late Drucilla Lemaster, was born in Estill County, Kentucky on July 8, 1940 and departed this life at her home in Lee County, Kentucky on December 26, 2018 at the age of 78 years, 5 months, and 18 days. She was a loving homemaker who loved to quilt.
Mrs. Samples is survived by two sons, Donnie Wayne Samples and wife Mary of Beattyville, Kentucky and Ralph Samples of Columbia, Missouri; two grandchildren, Jason Charles Samples and Crystal Dawn Samples both of Beattyville; one great granddaughter, Abagail Tipton of Beattyville; a brother, Denver Cole of Irvine, Kentucky; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Samples was preceded in death by her mother, Drucilla; her husband, Charles; a brother, Bobby LeMaster; and a great granddaughter, Jessica Ray Samples.
