Obituary for Edwin Curtis Hall



Curtis Hall, the husband of the late Carol Eloise Howell Hall of Beattyville, Kentucky, and the son of the late Louis and Gladys Phillips Hall, was born in Blackey, Kentucky on February 7, 1930 and departed this life in Lexington, Kentucky on December 2nd at the age of 88 years, 9 months, and 25 days. He was a joyful man who loved life. Curt enjoyed golfing and bird hunting. He was a member of the Owsley County Sportsman’s Club, a longtime member of the Beattyville Country Club, a Shriner and a member of the Proctor Lodge No.213, F. & A. M. of Beattyville, KY for more than 60 years. He was quite the dancer too.
Mr. Hall is survived by two sons, Kirk Hall of Beattyville, Kentucky and Robin Hall and wife Betsy of Summerville, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Coy Hall of Richmond Kentucky, Jenni Hall of Winchester, Kentucky, Rebekah and Logan Hall of Summerville, South Carolina; a sister, Joan Rushbrook of Washington State, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mr. Hall is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Eloise, a brother, Adolf, and two sisters, Juanita Cunningham and Vival Mattocks.
