Obituary for Louetta Faye Wilson (Pelfrey)

LOUETTA FAYE PELFREY WILSON, the widow of Lowell Edwin Wilson and the daughter of the late Wiley and Ida Gross Pelfrey, was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky on June 19, 1935 and departed this life at the home of her daughter in Lee County, Kentucky on November 26, 2018 at the age of 83 years, 5 months and 7 days. She was a homemaker, a farmer, a former Lee County Magistrate, a KY Colonel, a founding member of the Primrose Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, an active member of the Lee County Democratic Party, an active member of the Lee County Senior Citizens, and a member of the Lee County Church of Christ.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by two children, James Edwin Wilson and Rhonda Wilson Bowman both of Beattyville, Kentucky; 6 grandchildren, Mitch Morris, Telena Faye Wilson, Crystal Leann Wilson, Robert Chapman all of Beattyville, James Lowell Morris of Lake Orion, Michigan and Nicholas Mark Bowman of Georgetown, Kentucky; 9 great grandchildren, Joseph Mitchell Morris, Edwin James Morris, Landon Ronald Morris, Alexander Michael Morris, Benjamin Morgan Morris, Levi Melvin Morris, Daniel Mason Morris, Karamia Faye Wilson and Kaden Wilson; one brother, Carl Pelfrey of Hamilton, Ohio; two sisters, Elsie Mae Corey of Richmond, Kentucky and Phyllis Burton of Lebanon, Ohio; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lowell; five brothers, Elmo, Raymond, Gaither, Jessie Ray and Eugene Pelfrey; and three sisters, Bessie Moore, Mary Amburgy and Callie Fishbough.
