Janice Carol Slone Phillips, the wife of Royce Phillips of Beattyville, Kentucky and daughter of late Roscoe, Sr. and Kathleen Brandenburg Slone was born in Lee County, Kentucky on December 9, 1958 and departed this life in Irvine, Kentucky on November 19, 2018 at the age of 59 years, 11 months and 10 days.
Mrs. Phillips is survived by four children, Curtis Jr. Phillips, Edna Carol Phillips, Luke Keith Phillips, and William Ray Phillips all of Beattyville; nine brothers and sisters, Betty Rhodus of Lexington, Kentucky, Roger Slone of Beattyville, Ruth Ann Lalley of Georgetown, Kentucky, Jack Slone, Joe Slone, Brenda Gross, Ben Slone, Bessie Slone, Lucy Slone all of Beattyville; six grandchildren, Destiny Downs, Dalton James Phillips, Heaven Cheyanne Phillips, Hunter Braiden Booth, Sierra Sargeant, and Jayden Sargeant, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Phillips is preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, James and Roscoe Slone, Jr.
