Obituary for Shirley Hobbs (McIntosh)

Shirley McIntosh Hobbs, the daughter of the late McKinley and Susie McIntosh was born in Perry County, Kentucky on December 6, 1945 and departed this life in Irvine, Kentucky on November 10, 2018 at the age of 72 years 11 months and 4 days. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Bread of Life Ministries.
Ms. Hobbs is survived by six children, Charlotte Ball and husband Frank of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, Jeff Hobbs and wife Nola of Beattyville, Kentucky, Richard Hobbs and wife Ronda of Berea, Kentucky, Roger Hobbs and wife Teresa of Beattyville, Amanda Hobbs of Morristown, Tennessee, and Jennifer Mayes and husband Keith of Beattyville; seventeen grandchildren, Crystal Johnson, Cassy McGee, Steven Thorpe, Josh Hobbs, Michelle Brewer, Victoria Hobbs, Jeff Hobbs, Jr., Logan Walker, Tiffany Hobbs, Melonie Schueneman, Richard Hobbs, Amber Hobbs, Andrew Hobbs, Harley Brandenburg, Russell Hobbs, Harlan Mayes, and Brian Mayes; one sister, Hazel Sanchez of Columbus, Georgia, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Ms. Hobbs is preceded in death by her parents, nine brothers and sisters, Ada Wooten, William “Bill” McIntosh, Denver “Bulldog” McIntosh, Dennis McIntosh, James McIntosh, Robert McIntosh, Geladine Olinger, Betty Howard and Harlan McIntosh; and one grandson, Jordan Lynn Svatba.
