Shelly Sueann Marie Turner Velazquez, wife of Manuel Velazquez-Diaz of Goldsboro, North Carolina and the daughter of Kenneth James Turner of Beattyville, Kentucky and Linda Louise Marie Turner of Goldsboro, was born in Lexington, Kentucky on April 25, 1991 and departed this life at her home in Goldsboro, North Carolina on September 26, 2018 at the age of 27 years, 5 months, and 1day. She loved music, singing, and dancing and wanted everyone else to be happy.
In addition to her husband and parents, Shelly leaves behind two children, Raylin Royal Shyann Valazquez-Diaz Turner and Marcillis Manuel Valazquez-Diaz Turner both of Goldsboro; her stepfather, Juan Manuel Garcia of Goldsboro; five brothers, Kenneth Earl Roger Turner and wife Isabelle of Bollendorf, Germany, Shelby Edward Turner of Eddyville, Kentucky, James Linard Ray Turner and wife Sheena and Cody Scott Arvin Turner all of Goldsboro, and Daniel Donald Steven Turner and wife Sarah of Gransdorf, Germany; one sister, Ashley Ann Marie Turner of Goldsboro; her maternal grandparents, Earl and Virginia Turner of Jackson, Kentucky; six uncles, Lloyd, Donald, Bill, Shelby, Michael, and Donald; three aunts, Freda, Anna, and Marie; her step grandparents, Johnny and Terry Manns of Beattyville; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Shelly was preceded in death by her stepfather, Raymond Johnny Manns; a sister, Virginia Loretta Turner; and her paternal grandparents, James Roger and Loretta Turner.
