Obituary for Ernest Rowland

Ernest  Rowland
ERNEST ROWLAND, the husband of Anna Mae Evans Rowland of Beattyville, Kentucky and the son of the late Anderson and Mary Katherine Turner Rowland, was born in Lee County, Kentucky on March 14, 1935 and departed this life at his home in Lee County on September 25, 2018 at the age of 83 years, 6 months and 11 days. He served his country in the United States Coast Guard, was a former road foreman for the City of Cincinnati Road Department where he was employed for 35 years, a former United States Postal Service mail carrier, an outdoorsman who was an avid hunter, fisherman and bee keeper, a life member of the National Rifle Association and was a member of the Beattyville Christian Church.
In addition to his wife Anna, Mr. Rowland is survived by one son, Varian Rowland of Beattyville; one daughter, Valerie Ann Rowland of Beattyville; one grandson, Wayne J. Rowland and his girlfriend Brook, who together are expecting Ernest’s great grandchild; one granddaughter, Emily Leeanne Rowland of Beattyville; a special daughter In-Law, Anne Rowland Hatton of Berea, Kentucky; and a host of other relatives and friends.
