Ruby Ann Reece, daughter of the late Charles Ed and Eliza Spencer Sargeant was born August 6, 1936 in Lebanon, Ohio and departed this life in Jackson, Kentucky on June 2, 2018 at the age of 81 years, 9 months, and 27 days. She was a member and active worker of the First Baptist Church of Highland Heights, Kentucky, a Sunday school teacher for 40 years, and a youth group leader.
She is survived by one son, Don Sargeant of Richmond, Kentucky; one daughter Diana Reece of Newport, Kentucky; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; five brothers, Charles Sargeant of Ohio, Elmer Sargeant of Beattyville, Kentucky, James Sargeant of Dayton, Ohio, Jerry Sargeant of Richmond, Kentucky, and Stevie Sargeant of Beattyville, Kentucky; two sisters, Linda Phillips and husband Richard and Patricia Soloman all of Beattyville; a very special daughter-in-law, Mary Bihr; and a host of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents; Ruby is preceded in death by one son, David Sargeant; one daughter, Ravenna Reece; and two grandsons, David and Robert Reece.
