Shelby Goe, Jr., husband of Melissa Dawn Flinchum Goe and the son of the late Shelby Carl and Georgia L. Toler Goe was born in Lee County, Kentucky on February 23, 1944 and departed this life at his home in Beattyville, Kentucky on March 12, 2018 at the age of 74 years and 17 days. He was a flea market salesman, collector of antiques, and a member of the Sugarcamp Baptist Church. He also loved to travel.
In addition to his wife Melissa, Shelby is survived by one daughter, Shelbi Lynn Goe of Irvine, Kentucky; two granddaughters, Deanna Lane and husband Phillip of Stanton, Kentucky and Jamaica Gadd of Beattyville, Kentucky; one brother, Joe Goe and wife Susie; one sister Pauline Barrett; and two nephews, Robert Lee Goe and Ryan Blake Jones all of Beattyville, Kentucky.
He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Harold Morgan, Robert Goe, and Lonnie Ray Goe; and one sister, Geraldine Kincaid.
