Obituary for Wendell E. Booth

Wendell E. Booth, 79 has gone home to be with the Lord on March 3, 2018 in Jackson, Kentucky. He was born in Fixer, Kentucky on April 7, 1938 to the late Latha and Alma King Booth and was married for 56 years to Lola Lane Humphrey Booth. Wendell was an Air Force Veteran and a Branch Manager for KY Utilities. He was also a member of the Lee County Sportsmans Club, a former Little League Coach, loved reading books, was an avid trap shooter, amateur radio operator, an outdoorsman, a member of the Three Forks Historical Museum committee, a lifelong member of the VFW, a member of the NRA, Kiwanis Club and the Beattyville/Lee County Chamber of Commerce, and was a former board member of the Beattyville First Church of God where he loved his church and church family.
In addition to his wife Lola, Wendell is survived by four children, Tim Booth and Debbie Smith of Beattyville, Kentucky, Charlene Mullins and husband John of Breathitt County, Kentucky, David Booth and wife Missy of Winchester, Kentucky, and Jerrmi Booth and wife Dawn of Ashland, Kentucky; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one brother, Charles Booth and wife Terry of Leeco, Kentucky; one sister, Alice Holskey and husband Bill of Winchester, Kentucky; best friends, Gary Smith, Jimmy Cornett, and Dale Faulkner; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Joe Edwin Booth.
