Obituary for Billie Darrell Hamilton

Billie Darrell Hamilton, Age 78, of Ypsilanti, Michigan, went home to be with his Lord Tuesday, February 27, 2018. He was born July 15, 1939 in Wevaco, WV, the son of Thomas and Nettie (Bowman) Hamilton. On August 23, 1968, he married his beautiful wife Brenda J. McIntosh and she survives. Billie served in the U.S. Army for two years. He worked for Ford Motor Company for 32 years, retiring in 2000. He was a member of the Masons of Belleville and Moose Lodge of Ypsilanti for the past fifteen plus years. He enjoyed spending every second of his life with his beloved wife Brenda, whom was everything to him. In addition to his loving wife of 49 years, survivors include: brother-in-law Paul “Red” McIntosh of Richmond, KY; sister-in-law Mary Thomas of Beattyville, KY; five nieces, including his special buddy Ashley Thomas of Beattyville, KY, Melissa (HB) Elkins of Beattyville, KY, Karen (Greg) Carpentier of Garden City, MI, Kendra Nolan and family of Westland, MI and Tonya of OH; eight nephews, Michael Thomas of Richmond, KY, Greg (Kat and boys) McIntosh of Flat Rock, MI, Jeff McIntosh of PA, Jimmy McIntosh, Dennis McIntosh and David McIntosh, all of OH and Danny McIntosh of KY; very special friends, Judy and Jerry Ouellet of Ypsilanti, Larry and Betty Hall of Ypsilanti, Romie of Ypsilanti, Don and Sheila Miller of Saline, Mike Miller and family of Saline and Phil and Bobbi Miller of Pinckney. He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather Robbie Robinson; two brothers, JR and Bud Hamilton; one sister Nadinee; father-in-law James Monroe McIntosh; mother-in-law Ophelia McIntosh; two brothers-in-law, Williard and James Martin McIntosh; and one sister-in-law Danna Jean Morgan. The funeral service will be 2 pm Friday, March 2, 2018 at Newman Funeral Home, 108 Center Street, Beattyville, KY 41311. Visit 10 AM- 2 PM. Burial will follow in McIntosh Cemetery.
