Mrs. Wilma Jean Smith, 74, of the Webster Community, passed away on Friday morning, February 16, 2018 at Ambassador Health Care in Centerville.
She was born in Lee County, Kentucky on December 2, 1943 to Carlos and Golda Kendrick Brandenburg.
Wilma Jean worked at the former Wayne Corp. in Richmond, Indiana. She was an Elvis Presley fan and enjoyed taking Sunday drives and going out to eat.
Wilma Jean will be missed by her daughters & sons-in-law, Tammy & Scott Lacey and Karen & Rodney Stewart; sons & daughters-in-law, John & Ronda Smith, Jeff & Jill Smith and Billy & Debbie Smith; the father of her children, William E. Smith; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mae Wooten and Anne Richardson; brothers, William Brandenburg, Don Brandenburg, and Tim Brandenburg, and several nieces & nephews.
Wilma Jean was preceded in death by her parents; son, Daren Smith; two grandsons, Billy and Joey Smith; sisters, Madeline, Sylvia, Suzie, and Mary Grace; and brother, James Harold Brandenburg.
